So I've seen a ton of glitches on youtube and was wondering, if it's actually allowed to use them. I searched around on the internet for some minutes, but couldn't find anything related to it.
My main question is, if this can get you banned. (I got banned on MW2 for using a bot mod in private match, so I won't risk that.)

Oh and I'm talking about map glitches in MP/Zombies. Not level glitches or something like that.

I think you will get banned and deranked for glitching. I have only tested level glitching where my friend got a 2 week ban and deranked for duping to level 1000.
I'm pretty sure there has been bans due to the glitching on the mp map Splash.

I'd assume they'd be banned if your doing something like shooting someone through walls. If Your not using it to cheat i don't see a reason it would be banned.

I think it depends on the type of glitch

If it is to increase your rank, I am positive it will be frowned apon, and they could find out due to the sudden increase in a rank

But try it tell us how it works out :yus:

I'm prestige 8 atm, so I won't risk that.
I'm mainly talking about glitching on zombie mode.

If it is online (which I'm not sure if it is never played it) then I think it would be frowned apon

You can get away with it on Zombies as long as you do it on Private Match and make sure no one is poking around your theater mode. I for one don't need glitches on zombies because I am really good at it (I duped to Level 1000 on mp coz i cba with it). Also it still depends on the way you use the glitch. I think it is ok to AFK glitch but I don't know about the pile ups and all those other ones.

It's a gray area. It's difficult to detect.

Basically, abusing unintended technical mechanics, as glitches, is universally not allowed in online games, and always specified in the ToS.

but no, you shouldn't get banned.

It's not allowed, but not really enforced expect for some special cases.

I'm pretty sure they will not ban you for glitching on zombies. I've never seen that happen to anyone on BO3 yet.

As for MP mode, if you get reported enough times they'll most likely investigate it. They may ban you, but definitely not a permanent ban and I'm not sure if they'd reset your stats.

Aslong as your not modifying the game then they cant really do anything since its their fault.
