Is herobrine real?

I believed Herobrine was real for the longest time as a child and I used to watch so many Herobrine survival videos

I saw him behind a tree but i disapear it was probly a creeper ?

At my time it was more than a "creepypasta" thing than an real thing. From what i can tell there is definetly no Herobrine .
