Is investing an option?

16 y/o, have a job making good cash money. dont have anything to spend the money so i dont really care about loss. Is investing still an option or should i abandon crypto?

Right now the whole market is kinda down so you can buy crypto at a discount before it goes up again some time in the future.
I tried to buy at the lowest points but you never know if it goes even lower so don't spend all your money at once.

Of course you can, you just need to be smart about it. Either play stocks or crypto. Just don't get greedy or you risk big losses. Make small gains with day trading and scale upward from there.
Keep in mind pretty much everything is down right now, so watch carefully.

no point everything is down and I dont feel like it will go up anymore like its been down for what 2 months now idk I just dont see the point myself

When everything is down and everyone is looking depressed it's the best time to buy. I strongly believe crypto will go up again in the future.
Even short term profits are possible, ETH went up 7% in the last 24h. Maybe it's the first sign of a coming upward trend.

I truly think investing in smaller coins is a better option than investing in mainstream coins like bitcoin and etherum so maybe do some research in to that

Back before Ethereum was super mainstream I bought like $50 or so when it just hit 10/etherand put it inside some wallet. Long story short I lost the fucking wallet but it would have been real fucking nice to have an extra 5k rn.
