Is it hard to master scuf?

I really would like to buy a scuf controller, but I think it is kinda hard to master?
The money wouldn't be a problem, but I don't know if it is worth it, although I do think that I'll benefit from it.
It is just the mastering scuf part that might be a problem.
Anyone with expercience, is it hard to master scuf?
