I'm an active trader and definitely now is a better time to invest than a year ago when everybody was buying when it was already up 20 times. It's definitely a good risk reward to start now. Bitcoin might range between 2-3000$ and 4-5000$ in 2019, and 2020 will tell if market will start a new phase up.

It is impossible to tell if it worth it or not, as nobody knows wether or not it will rise or fall. But you could read up on the topic, and get some information that you can use to determine if you think it will rise or fall. Either way, its gonna be a risk game.

In my opinion, I think you should buy maybe 50 bucks worth of bitcoin. ATM I have close to 500 dollars in BTC. I bought it off Coinbase, and now it's been in my electrum wallet for about 6 months. If bitcoin jumps up to 50k and you have lets say 50 bucks in BTC, you will make about 2k roughly. That is if i'm doing my math right. 50 bucks isn't much in the long run of things. You may lose it or make some money, that is what investing is. Best of luck.

Idk if bitcoin or other crypto currencies are worth it but stock markets and investing in companies is always a viable option.
