I have not really thought about this, but is leaking things like gmod scripts illegal?

Yes, it is illegal but nothing will happen to you as they aren't going to spend legal fee's over one person.

Yes, because Copyright Law. You getting something for money, but when you publish it something, or sell it by your own YOU getting plus, no author's pluses. So it's illegal.

They are most likely copyrighted So the answer to your question is probably yes for most of them

Of course it is, but you are almost never gonna get caught, and as the person above said they are not gonna spend money on legal fees just for one single person.
