ve never believed in success with mining and I do not believe in it right now. It requires too much resources and money in an unstable crypto market. Maybe 5-6 years ago mining for bitcoin made sense.

BTC Mining is absolutely dead, I have had a few friends sell their mining rigs similar to ZapZapLazerBeam's friend.

I don't think it's dead, you can still earn enough through mining

Not at all, I know some people who still are mining and they are getting enough money to be satisfcifed.

After the recent marketing things and comments from known or important business men, the worth of crypto mining has been reduced.
