Is mining profitable?

If you think properly and MAKE it profitable, then ofc... no point of not trying and being lazy. It's important to analyzing mining especially since it's risky. I would say it's worth it... just be prepared to learn a lot of stuff and always remember that you aren't always going to make the best amount of money

If you can afford a large price upfront, and are willing to mine in groups, then you might make a little bit of profit.

Mining can be profitable yes, remember when you mine you use your computers highest potential power so it matters on what hardware you have. If you have high quality software that uses a lot of power for low energy then you will easily make profit and vise versa, bad software tends to use a lot of energy and not provide the power needed to mine much.

I would not mine bitcoin, bit like ethereum instead. just look in the internet what coin is most profitable at this time. i thought you couls earn your money back of the investment in around 3-4 months.

I've seen people claim they can use free cloud computing credits with Amazon, Azure and Google to mine for coins.

When I looked at it in the past, it wasn't profitable if you had to pay for the cloud servers. But if you're getting the cloud servers for free, then apparently you can turn 100% of the credits into mined coins. One of the biggest issues with this is the fact that the cloud server providers do not want people mining, so they close accounts quickly if you're detected.

If you have the $ to invest, then yes. If not, then no.
