Is my hero academia a naruto rip off ??

When i first started watching my hero academia i felt it was a bit like naruto in the concept of he didnt have a power now he does wait he has to learn how to control it and u have to battle other classmates to be the best and u have to learn and get a degree or somthing to be able to use it. And im saying this all that qithout realy watching naruto except a few eps
