Is overwatch dead?

i'm looking for a fun new game to play, so i tought about overwatch. Do you guys maybe know if it's a dead game???

Most likely, i heard that some servers have been shutdown.
If you want a fun game to play, play Dark Souls 3

Technically it's not dead, and Overwatch 2 is under development.

It's true that ppl don't play OW as everyday basis and fewer streaming video about OW recently.
