Is the game dead?

CSGO definitely is not dead. Though, I think lots of players will probably leave because of VALORANT. Last time I matchmaked, there were at least 100,000+ players searching. It used to be 200,000+, so it going down.

Many people asked this question with the release of valorant, but I dont think so. Cs will always be there; it just has a competitor right now.

When I see "The Game", I immediately think "I lose".

far from dead in my opinion comp times have only been reducing for me recently.

It's too big as an esports game to be killed off tbh, csgo still has it's perks, especially with the market for skins. I thought it was going to die when the source codes got leaked tho lmao

Of course not, competetive is really active. Try playing with some friends, it's more fun

I think the modding community is very much keeping this game alive, but such is true about a lot of different titles.

csgo will never die now or later even with valorant being out
