Is the new xbox one x worth the money?

It's not worth it unless you want to game in 4k... which is stupid because why wouldn't you just buy a PC then?

Changed the thread title to something more relevant. Please use more relevant titles in the future. Anyway I'd have to agree with Dark Waifu. If you solely wanted something for watching content in 4k it would make way more sense to get a 4k smart bluray player for a near fraction of the price.

Personally, I'm a PC player so this is just my 2 cents, but it IS coming from an ex-XBOX ONE owner.

Personally, I would say that if you're noticing your graphics are really bothering you and you are seemingly running slower on certain games, then give it the upgrade your mentality needs.
But, if you can bare the mediocre graphics, I personally wouldn't waste the money on the upgrade.
