Is this game really dead?

Well... there are some kids that still playing some HG servers... For fun, i play sometimes.

It's really not. People who say all the adults / mature people are quitting may feel like that because they're one of them - but it's a cycle. Like a life, for example. New people are born, and they get older. As time goes on, more are born, and more die off. Minecraft's playercount is not decreasing, but servers are getting worse - The game itself is alive and kicking but it's the community that's starting to get worse - not dying, mind you, but worse.

is slowley getting there. ive been playing it since around 2011 and it just has gotten extremly cringy

Its not dead, and it will never die.. and even if. i dont care i have my fun with it.

Declining slowly but not dead. The devs do need some new inspiration to keep the game moving forward though.

Absolutely dead, all the teens who played it have quit, only kids remain

Honestly, after Notch left Mojang and sold the game to microsoft, the game started dying. I remember being so fucking addicted to it (even last summer). Nowadays it's just a shitty game becoming shittier by the day. Sad to even think about the fact that the game could be dead in the next 5 years though.

I think the popular Minecraft YouTubers are running out of ideas and dying slowy and that might be why Minecraft feels like it's Dying.
