Always remember that there are a lot of people who make a living from it, most importantly twitch streamers and youtubers who are capable of moving massive amounts of people, i mean if all those guys/girls say that some game is awesome and they play it, a lot of people will play it, doesn't matter if its shit, so as long as its streamed and featured in youtube/entrateinment channels, there will be always some playerbase there, also such an important game as CS-GO won't lose players even if it becomes a low cuality game. It works the same way as Apple, if it says Iphone it will be bought, just replace Iphone with CS.

with the amount of money they make from the game i'd say it's gonna be around for awhile

I don't think it will end anytime soon, that game is generating a lot of income for valve and many cs case sites.

they're not going anywhere. the player base will stay consistent at least for another 3-4 years now if they dont add any new shit and they dont fix that useless brick they call VAC. by then i guess most of the players would be migrating to other fps games. idk maybe fortnite or pubg? idgaf

point is, valve is too rich to be backing out

The counter-strike still has a few years left, hopefully the community will stop being so trash and that valve will stop giving money to their people, because they will end up getting tired because of the hackers

Cs go daily have millions players. i dont think it will day more than few years

they are not that competitive like a some years ago while other games are booming right now

Counter Strike for me is a legend and will be alive until such time computers die. Meaning, for as long as computer lives, CS will live forever.

Counter-Strike won't die. The reason their population went down is that they banned 1.3 million people only in January, and 40 thousand more every day until 2 weeks ago. It will rise again during sales.
