Is tick really that important?

#1 I've been always hearing about 128 tick and stuff but is it really that important? I'm pretty sure 66 tick is enough for a source game unless you're running a bhop/surf server. I play FaceIt and it doesn't seem that much of a change from normal competitive. I'd like to hear your thoughts on this.

I dont't know how many hours you played but if you play 1000+ hours you will see the difference.

They effect where grenades go etc.
