Isnt "the lounge" a bit like reddit?

Not really. Reddit is a totally different type of format. The lounge here is just a thinly veiled excuse for most people to up their credits.

No, it's the area where you can complete 15 posts to download smth you wanted here.

honestly i think the lounge is more of an excuse for others to get their 15 posts honestly i think most of the questions on the lounge is quite silly but i always keep a straight face when answering these questions

Yeah pretty much but sometimes you can find some good questionsand conversations, like the pros and cons of Apple and Windows

Reddit is a bit more divided into like Subreddits etc, and is probably hundreds if not more times bigger than this community, but I can slightly see the similarities.

It is kind of similar. I can't put my finger on the reason though. Maybe because we are all a community here.
