Java or Bedrock version ?

java edition is much better you have more items in bedrock/windows edition its not much to do

While Bedrock is better for cross-platform play, in my mind Java is superior as it has amazing community support with many modified server jars like "Paper" which is built for performance over the original server, as well as many mods and plugins for servers. So my answer is Java! :peace:

I play the java version because it has the most mod and plugin support.

Java hands down, you get the snapshots earlier as well as mods like optifine are essential to me having a decent time playing the game

I'm playing on java because of mods. In my opinion java is way better than bedrock editon.

this ones actually a bit complicated. on one hand java edition is just hands down superior in relative terms, but bedrock is more widely accessible. if youre planning on playing with your group of friends, it would surely be easier on bedrock. however, if you all are playing on strong pcs then java is your best bet.

Java all the way tbh, however Bedrock is pretty nice when you have friends that have other consoles. It's a simple minecraft.

for modded games java wins imo. vr performance seems better with bedrock
