Java or Bedrock?

Personally, I believe it depends a lot on what you like to do in minecraft. Mods are much more accessible in Java, but that doesn’t mean much to me as I like Vanilla a lot, plus, the ability to play cross platform on Bedrock makes in objectively better in my opinion.

I prefer java, I've been playing it for about 11 years, so I have a special affection for it

java just feels and looks better and smoother imo

Java is better in every aspect besides the cross-play ability, but with GeyserMC we have the solution.

I like java better just because thats what i've always played, but the mods you can get are so much cooler than bedrock.

Java has a infinitely better modding scene, Minecraft almost runs exclusively on mods sometimes.

Bedrock is 100% superior no one can change my mind be welcome to try
