What exactly do you do with these things?

Make arcades? Never the less, I'm sure he'll like it if he's into techy stuff!

There are many things he can do with that Raspberry PI kit. It's best gift for someone who like to make new things.

Great presents, he'll enjoy these.
You must be a great girlfriend to spend so much on him.

v4hl: Ahh thanks. I try.

Tom: Raspberry Pi is basically a tiny tiny computer. And you code it to do what ever you can imagine. Uhm there are plenty of projects out there on the web for it, but I know for a fact my boyfriend wants to use it to make an arcade that runs like some sort of arcade emulator (MAME), and he is a Carpenter so he could build a fancy casing for it and custom joystick etc etc.
Some projects: They are actually encouraging younger children to learn through it. KIDS are building and coding with it now.
Elysian: Well, I didn't think it was very much cost wise, I am just glad I have finally gotten him something creative and something he can get busy with... rather than boring clothes or movie night now.
