A Keto diet usually is only suggested if you're extremely overweight. I've tried it myself, and a few friends of mine have tried it in the past with not a lot of great results. During the first week or two, most of the weight you're shedding is water weight, and is not necessarily weight that stays off over time. Once you stop the Keto diet, it's really easy to gain that weight right back as well, even from one normal meal based around a 2,000 calorie diet. My friends also mentioned that they believed the keto diet slowed down their metabolism as well, which threw off their normal routines. I would suggest you start a more Mediterranean Diet, that usually can help with weight loss.
