Definitely give this a try, it's written/directed/whatever else by Makoto Shinkai.
Makoto Shinkai should be enough for you to watch it.

Haven't even seen it yet(I'll hopefully watch it tonight), though I've heard so much good stuff about it and again.. Makoto, can't be bad.

Oh and it's romance anime, I know a lot of u boring people don't like it, but it really is good.

Watched it yesterday actually. I found it good, kinda cheesy at some points.

But around the end, that's something I didn't expect.

You should also try towatch Koe No Katachi (A Silent Voice) if you're into this kind of stuff, it aired last Saturday. It's a drama/romance movie about a deaf girl and her former bully. I haven't seen it yet though. Seems like a good movie.

The movie reminds me of Only Yesterday for some reason..

Edit: I'll only watch it in theaters if they're showing a subtitled version without a dub.. which is most likely impossible.

This movie is so adorable!! I recommend it to everyone, great story. ^^

There is no reason to watch a anime boring, they are pretty boring and i'd suggest one with real characters instead or a scary movie which thrills your heart. Anime>Real Movie>Anime movie
