Install fps boost or buy new computer!
And check your graphics setting, you may not have noticed that you have high gr. setting!

I think u need to clear your PC from some trash and download FPS Boosts for GMod

most darkrp servers now get the worst inexperienced coders of all time to make custom content for them like huds especially they dont make their code properly and un necessarily decreases fps, in most cases its not your fault its actually the code

Its normal. There are 3-10gb addons and gmod is on 32bit.

Well DarkRP can be very unoptimized. If the person who is creating the server doesnt know how to optimize their server then it can become a really bad experience.

You can try delete gmod, unsuvscribe addons in your steam workshop, and delete files in folder "download, download list".
most of the times its all the custom addons the server has and the amount of players and props. ive joined some servers that have 60ppl and a ton of bases and have benn at 45fps
