Hey, so I have a question, I like to take a bath now and then. But tbh its relaxing but sometimes boring. So idk if you ever see anything like this, but sometimes I see those wooden planks that cross over the bath, where you can put your laptop or ipad or something like that on.
So now the my question is if I take a hot bath with steam etc, do you think its okey for the laptop to sit on that wooden plank? or is the steam gonne destroy the laptop? I know steam isnt very good for electronics so yeah haha, maybe I am just stupid for asking this but he
Anyways thanks, greetings
Ruub Omg, this doesnt belong in Social Engeneering, this has to be the lounge... Sorry once again, just close the thread please

Its not a good idea at all, its going not to instantly to kill the laptop unless u wanna give it a bath but it will surely start corroding and decrease its life span and there's a small chance of getting a short . U can decrease the humidity by opening doors or windows that will help somewhat.
There's nothing like adding the risk of electrocution to the activity of stewing in one's juices lol.
I suggest just getting out of the tub once you're bored.
But yeah, in the specifications electronics are usually rated for the maximum humidity level they should be operated in and you can get a humidity monitor pretty cheap on Amazon (link). Anything involving steam would likely probably crossthis threshold though.
Life is like a box of chocolates, it doesn't last as long for fat people.
