It was not a bad decision. Rather a smart one.
If he would have kept the section around, leak could have faced some major legal issues.
Possibly resulting in the site being taken down.

If he would have kept the section around, leak could have faced some major legal issues.

If this is who I think it is, you should know why he chose not to do that.
A good majority of the older community will leave if a whole new forum arises. Not to mention the site will also be stripped of all it's history, as said by the owner himself. Yuun
