Left or right handed weapons and why?

Just a question, I've never realy seem someone using the left handed viewmodels.

I often switch between left and right as a kind of alternative for inspecting your knife, I don't think there is any other reason than cosmetics tbh.

some high ranked pug players have binds to switch to a different viewmodel on either side when peeking certain angles and such ig

personally I just keep my weapon side on the right side, left just looks weird to me

It mostly depends on your dominant eye, but lots of players switch between right and left hand with a keybind to see better depending on an angle that they are at

Right handed because if it was on the left it'd probably throw me off. I've never tampered with the view model so I'm just used to the default

I didn't even try to change the look of my weapon
