Every linux youtuber has atleast 3 videos saying "Why you should switch to linux" or "10 reasons why linux is better". But if a viewer actually tries it without prior knowledge of how the system works. He will get confused and probably break something. Software support is lacking, theres like 3 programs that literally dont let me switch to it(Vegas Pro, Paint.net, ShareX). I use them frequently, and they take a major role in my projects. Hell, even daily use. I know that there are alternatives but every one of them just doesnt even get close to what i need. What software do you guys use which isnt supported by linux? Got any alternatives?
Of course linux isnt bad for everything, its really good for making servers and for old pcs. It might even be good for gaming from what ive seen, but that requires a lot of knowledge and experience. I just think its not ready for the general consumer.
