What software do you guys prefer? I'd always liked Linux but somehow I'm still using Windows.

Maybe you're just using Windows because Wine for Linux is not the stable and easiest to use yet. To use Linux, you have to build the system like you want, it needs time but if you're finished you have a master OS that will eat Windows.
I'm able to use Origin, Steam and some other launchers and I can play games like Battlefield on Linux. Using Manjaro is a great way to start with Linux.

All for Windows. Windows is much more stable and easy to use. It has always been my prefered OS.

I use Windows mainly because the programs I use are for Windows and trying to use them on Linux would be a pain in the ass. I know you can use wine but I had problems hence stayed on windows.

I use Windows so I can play Steam games but I use Linux on my Chromebook I purchased recently because ChromeOS is the biggest pile of dogshit ever.
