Omg. Yes, i agree its one of the great anime out there. Simple setting yet amazing, Great character development as well. I love the Manga and the Anime adaptation. Both are great. This anime is the perfect example of proper anime adaptation (12 episode).

konosuba and nichijou are great if you just want pure fun
something a bit darker would be made in abyss
had a blast watching those three

hmm I dont believe in starter recommendations myself, but I know some people follow it, so heres a good one

Cowboy Bebop - Good action, old and cool, good dub
Trigun - Another good and cool and kinda old, good dub
Konosuba - Good comedy, nice starter to isekai anime
Silent Voice - Good drama movie, nice starter too.
