Looking on your phone after waking up?

Might be a sign for addiction. After I wake up I feel like I have to check for new notifications. I do that before even talking to other people. Kinda sad I have to admit

Usually, when I wake up and look at my phone it's because of an alarm. Once I've made a coffee I check Discord and NBB.

We all do it. Habits and addiction are a very blurry line.

My habit is more or less to talk to people that i otherwise wouldn't in my personal life. This lasts for most of the day from the time i wake up til the moment i fall asleep (If I'm not at work, that is).

The majority of the friendships i have are all over the internet which is pretty typical nowadays, this includes my relationship. Surprisingly with that being said, i don't really use social media much at all. With the majority of my online friends, we all talk via Steam or Snapchat - Never been into the whole Facebook or Instagram stuff. It's just not a habit for me to regularly check it or update it.

I think this is common for everybody. I check for my notifications right after I turn off my alarm for my phone. I don't think it's a problem. It's like answering when somebody calls your name, you're pretty much checking for a social interaction.

I don't think it's really a problem lol. Everybody checks their phones because something might have came up whilst asleep.

It kind of depends on the day. It typically isn't the first thing I do, but after I've been awake for an hour or so I will definitely have looked at it at least once. I worry way too much about someone trying to get a hold of me so not checking it altogether isn't an option.
