So I've come to a stagewhere I feel as if I need to start mining even with my very low amount of cash on hand. I was thinking of making a guide on the forum for different cash phases, so lets say you had 10 000 usd vs having 15 000 vs 20 000 (only using usd as a agreed upon currency) what would be your best options to overcome your own electricity costs as well as make a decent return to break even on your costs to buy the equipment.

If you guys know some resources to assist that would be great to add on to the post.

idk why the graphics cards are getting so much overpriced because of this cryptomining thing you're talking about. I wish it wouldnt be like that.

Well you want to get the best cards to make ROI with what coin(s) you choose to mine.
Now, typically AMD run hotter and are stronger at Ethash, so personally I opt for NVIDIA. I believe the 1070(maybe 1070ti) is the most hash/$ at the moment. So if you can pick those up at a reasonable price like 600 or under then you're in a good start.
Electricity for me is a around .12 per kWh so with 80% power setting on GPUs and OC I do more than fine on covering electric costs.
tl;dr know what you want to mine and go from there. avoid impulse buying on overpriced GPUs.

Nothing here is cheap and it would be better to go expensive

Well there are a few contributing factors, due to the ability for a person to use their graphics card to be able to ''earn'' cryptocurrencies the demand for graphics cards that are able to do this action has skyrocketed which is putting pressure on the supply of graphics cards which in turn allows them to be sold at higher prices (IMO), and since the people's profits are able to be matched with purchasing multiple (some users run 6 graphics cards) cards to make even more profit...they're able to buy at these high prices.

i think ur better in buying a used asic miner than a using the graphic card method, i dont know why people using this methods, already a 80 asic miner have more power than my geforce 1060.

mini is worth, the problem is more the price u pay for engine, like some guys want use a water power so they pay 2 Cents for a kw/h in Austria and not like regual people over 20 Cents.

in the past i had a list with costs per Bitcoin, like in Venezuela u pay 800$ for mining 1 BT

You'll get what you pay for. Honestly not sure if it's still worth it with the drop in bitcoin etc but if you were to invent I would look into a asic miner.
