Thickness of the stroke dividing the lines is too small.

Logos get resized often. The detail of the division will be destroyed when the logo becomes smaller.

Would have been better if you make the middle shape of the logo the same thickness as the sides of the "M" for consistency.

I'm not going to go into full detail on the presentation, but it needs lots of work.

The logo is a clean, solid, and simple design. Doesn't seem to have any symbolic meaning other than it relating to your client's name, so it's rather boring.

Looks really clean, I like it personally.

I'm pretty new to this myself but what I would love myself would be something more to this picture as it looks pretty simple ( a little boring imo )
Although that may not be a bad thing depending on what he requested.

Good job Smile!

Thanks for the feedback,
finally someone who explains what I should do better Smile.

Also this wasn't for a client just trying to improve Smile

I think it looks really good. I think the dividing line looks good at that size, just dunno how well it would scale down.

Reminds me a bit of the logo for drum & bass label Monochrome Recordings:

Quality is weird, if you're uploading it to imgur to put it on here make sure you click magnify before you drag it to the other tab to get the direct url.
