Really hope there could be a minecraft 2 but more probably they will keep upgrading the actual game

Hytale will have most of the features that one would expect from "Minecraft 2", although I don't think there would be mods, there will be scripts and custom models judging by the blog posts tthat hytale has posted...

Yea, pretty sure it will be Hytale. These guys doing incredible work, and as I heard they are sponsored by Riot games inc. So makes sense to me that this project will go far.
