Man, this feels like something I would've made when I was finishing up high school, so I am totally biased in favour of it.

Here are some things I wished someone told me when I was starting out:

- one can immediately see you have an eye for a creative look and direction; right now you're at a point where your taste and ability are not matched... keep practicing and they will meet

- your layouts will improve when you addstructure; check out some video on setting up grids and working to them; almost all graphic design is learning this AND THEN learning how to break the grid creatively

- using grids will also give you a better sense of where to place your elements when you get to the edges of your artboards; at the moment all of them have typeor some element that is uncomfortably close to the edges

- your overall compositions will improve MASSIVELY if you lock into your primary concept first and not rely on the little flourishes and additions you have (eg. the parental advisory element or the CD disc element);your second last design is the best example of you doing this naturally though your own sense of design

- your typography is almost there - check out how to work with good tight kerning and leading (especially on Helvetica type sans serif type); type that's almost there is in many ways WORSE than bad type because one senses its off in an unsettling way

Keep it up and keep designing stuff you like. An easy tip on how to get really good at design is to learn to design in a style that you don't understand or appreciate. This keeps things challenging and will make you a better creative. Good luck!

It is really great, I used to be apart of a site called "coverlandia" back in 2010 and I used to make album covers as well.
