Summary

Mallard Loadscreen is a very customizable and semi-modular loading screen with an easy configuration. I aimed to offer the sleek sexiness of other great loading screens, all while keeping things easy on users who aren't as well knowledgeable in web development and design.

5 Modes, it's like 5 loading screens in one!
Drag 'n' drop simplicity, just copy and paste your backgrounds and music!
User box which shows your user's username, real name, Steam ID, IP address and country code!
Server box which shows your server's name, gamemode, map and current players.
Fading background images, simple drag 'n' drop!
Backgrounds scale with resolution!
Rules box where you can write up to 8 of your main rules for users to see before they join!
Description box where you can write either a brief summary of your server, or a large one.
Working download progress bar with file names and percentage displayed!
Uses hex colour codes, so you can choose between 16,777,216 colours!
Custom box headers!
Header which can be text or an image, interchangeable by config. The background box is also removable!
Toggle-able Music player which randomly plays any OGG files in your music folder!
Quotes box that fades between different messages which you can write!
If you dislike any of the above features, chances are you can disable them in the config, some of the features may vary depending on which mode you have your loading screen set to.

Requirements

Below we have requirements that you will need to use this loading screen:

Web Host that supports PHP 5.3+ (See below for a free one)
Webkit Supported Browser to test (Firefox, Chrome, Opera)
Text editor (You can just use notepad but it's much easier to use notepad++ or other editors)
Setup

Edit config.php to your liking, make sure you include your Steam API key, server IP and server port or the functionality will not work.

Place the backgrounds you want in the backgrounds folder, the loading screen will automatically add them. You can remove the default ones or use them instead of your own.

Place any music files that you wish to play in the music folder, these must be in OGG format. The loading screen will automatically add them. You can remove the default ones or use them instead of your own.

Find a web host you like and upload the loading screen to your hosting, if you need help doing this please contact your web host's support rather than me. 'Hostinger' is recommended, URL below.

Check to see all is good by heading to the URL you stored the loading screen at. Don't worry if the gamemode doesn't show up, the loading screen can only grab this information when loading in to the server.

Set your sv_loadingurl to wherever you uploaded the loading screen along with '?steamid=%s'. It should look like this in your server.cfg:
sv_loadingurl "http://domain.com/loadingscreen/includes/php/mode1.php?steamid=%s" (Replace mode1.php in the loadingurl to whatever mode you want from mode1.php to mode5.php)

Load in to your server with a sexy new loading screen, enjoy!

Support is no longer provided on this product, if you have issues make sure you're using the web host 'Hostinger' and followed the tutorial correctly, if you still need help then add Imperial Duck or Imperial Knight on Steam and we may help you if it's an issue with the script and not your own fault

Garry's Mod has a bug where it sometimes fails to tell the loading screen how many files there are to download, in this case it will still show what files are being downloaded but the bar will be at 100% and a percentage will not be shown.
