Well, don't worry I never get infected after I learned about malware...

I ran this in Oracle VM Virtual Box ~

He failed at making malware.... which was not custom coded but still how the hell do you fail so hard at infecting someone?! :noh:

// Oh yeah, it was malware I virus scanned it before I ran it but I still ran it cuz why not?

svchost is a windows registry program, be careful... one of my main .dll files returned as malware, double checked by microsoft, it turned out it was due to a corrupt update.

Registry?
Isn't it a service host, keeping some windows services running?

The first time I ran MalwareBytes, 3482 viruses found.

:noh: Yet my accounts were never stolen. My passwords were never leaked.

You can try to scan first with Avast for viruses and then with Malwarebytes for malware.
Also keep your antivirus program up to date and running all the time.
Do not open every exe file you find, even when it's tempting :yus:
Use a virtual pc to run suspicious files.

Or just scan it with virustotal...? So much easier. I scan EVERYTHING with it. Literally, everything. And its free :yus:

It's funny a lot of people have their computer infected yet nothing is ever done to them when infected.
