Tbh I enjoy manga way more as I get older, I don't wana waste my time watching something that I could read in way less time lol. Maybe I'm just getting older and more lame lmao.

I typically prefer anime over manga, usually because the anime goes into more detail with the character's backstories or has them interact with each other more. Plus the story lasts a bit longer too, and with manga I feel the story ends a bit too soon. Though it also depends on what anime vs manga we're talking about. I still prefer the main Pokemon manga series to the anime since it retells the stories of the video games rather than being based around Ash. Plus the ones based around Ash are usually strange. xD

I tend to prefer anime for the emotional investment (of color and voices), but I'll jump onto the manga if I reach the end of the anime, since it's the same characters and all. Very rarely, though, the manga and anime are totally different, so then it comes to which has the better story..

As someone who hated reading growing up, I prefer anime but wish I could get into manga for several reasons. Anime takes too long to come out, for example, I'm currently watching boruto (DONT BULLY ME) the show is slow and taking its time while in the manga they are far far ahead of the anime plot. But I feel like anime gives a better showing of fights and the dialoguebeing spoken by different people other than me and my mind makes the storyline better.

I find myself in the same boat lol. Friend wanted me to watch demon slayer so I watched two episodes then just read the whole thing in about a week. I find myself picking whichever one has the better art style sometimes as well since they can differ.

I'm the same. I can get through manga so fast so if there's an option, I'll definitely just read it. I only really watch anime when I'm watching with other people
