NOTE: I did NOT draw these, I did however color and extract them.

A couple of years ago, I starting making avatars on requests for the members of another forum. I stopped doing that about a year ago, and at the time I had made more than 2,000 avatars for said community. Throughout that time-span, I "invented" a specific style of avatar making dubbed "Manga Art" and lately I have picked that style up and improved it into version 2, dubbed "MangaCOLOR". This style isn't completely unique to me, though it is rare to see it be used in this manner. (Along with a unique turn on line-working hence the term "invented".) The above are three examples of this style and they serve as examples because I have a question.

Who here is interested in; Wallpapers, Avatars and Signatures made in this style?

This style, yes.The progress follow these steps;

  • Find manga panels.
  • Clean up manga panels.
  • Extract the lines by removing the white background.
  • Color in the base color.
  • Apply gradient and/or shade to the color.
  • Finish with overall tweaks.
