Metal like Effects

Hi! Does anyone have any tutorials on how to convert shapes and drawings with a metal finish?

I have seem some PSD files online that you can easily upload your vector works best with text and it gives it that chrome metal finish is that what your looking for?

If they're simple shapes or monochrome drawings, you can run it through a program like Vector Magic. Edit / drop out the background in Illustrator. Save as a .ai File > Illustrator Version 8, and bring it into Cinema 4D. Import the .AI, Extrude, download some lighting and metak material packs and toss them on. Sounds complicated but if you get the process down you can completely transform the level of designs you can make.

How can I get my hands on them?

theres an action set in the resource section, use the search function key words like chrome text should work.

There's a photoshop plugin called "eye candy" - i use it for chrome/metal textures
