I really only use edge when I accidentally uninstalled a program, looked it up in cortana menu thingy majigger and accidentally clicked the 'best search' option. It's just a cooler looking IE for old people to use

No, no and no, Microsoft Edge is crap, it is fatal, I recommend using Google Chrome, it is fantastic on PC of little and good performance

Last time I used Edge it had no integrated virus protection, random indefinite popups, Windows Defender didn't even protect it at the time. Haven't used the program since mainly because I have had no need to.

When Microsoft released Windows 10, they did a desperate attempt to save some of their browser market by introducing the world to "Microsoft Edge". Their new generation browser that would serve as an replacement for "Internet Explorer". It has had a.... Rough start to say the least. It suffered from many issues, but the one that I think it was wrongly accused for is the; "it is just the new IE, lawl" idea. Microsoft Edge is not a bad browser, and since it's launch, it has gained a great deal of support, in the form of extensions and new features that few browsers can match to this very date. Now I am not talking about subjective things such as design (despite the fact that I personally adore Edge's design), no I am more referring to things that Edge just does better.

Edge is really innovative, but my personal preference is Chrome because all my data are synced with the help of Google Cloud
