Minecraft 1.8 combat is better than the combat in later versions

1.8 combat is so much more strategic. There is combos, block hitting, and it's much more fast paced. On the other hand 1.9 combat is more about who hits first and the timings are so slow combos are completely impossible. It's also pretty slow and boring and the timing mechanism is dumb. What do you think?

Honestly 1.7.10 is better I think, but yes you're right about 1.9+

Arent they changing it more in future updates or something

I think the combat system in 1.8 is a thousand times better than that in the newer ones

I think that 1.7 combat is the best but 1.8 is better than what it is on the newest versions
