A game isn't dead because it isn't the most played game of all.

I think minecraft is selling really well on consoles, much better than the java version. So the player base is still very high, I think.

It's definitely better than most games around the same age, but it definitely doesn't have the same level of hype. I'm not sure what people are going to instead though
