Used to play Minecraft almost religiously about 8 or 9 years ago and I remember the thrill of finding new ores or upgrading things - even getting a simple building together.
I picked it up again a few weeks ago and found myself too easily straying to using some command lines tools to help or getting bored very quick.
So, essentialy, what should I do to get a bit of that classic nostaliga feeling going? Any mods people would recommend? How do I love MC again? :D
I bought minecraft when i was 11, the update was alpha 1.2.6 if i recall correctly, I was watching minecraft through a youtuber before that someone called something with an xj9 at the end of it. Good times. All was pure. I would recommend trying it out with some mod packs and friends.
