I am trying to build a Minecraft server. How does Hamachi help?

I wouldn't use Hamachi or homehost your server at all, I'd buy it from a company such as Nitrous Networks or Serenity Server or even Melon Cube.

I once tried to use hamachi to be able to play with a friend, but I could never make it work, I think it would be more helpful to really host it, and very cheap services, but they are also very basic, but they are easy to use, you should try some

see videos on youtoube they explain very well to have your minecraft server

Dont use Hmachi, Hamchi is piece of shit, buy a server for 5$

Me to some but most of the time they are fine and running for me. Some time on the heavy heavy load they get slow but that's rare and I have no problem most of the time.

If you just want to play with your friends a cuple hours you can use webpages like aternos that gives you free servers. Otherwise i recommend you to buy a host.

just look up some tutorials on youtube pretty easy ones and short ones there
