Well mining is a dead subject, you would need alot of very exspensive hardware, plus the electricity costs go through the roof. It's just not worth it anymore dude

What coin you want to use.

You should do a lot of research on altcoins;
Mining bitcoin is really hard to get into so I would recommend you to research a bunch of altcoins also use some calculators + potentional GPU / CPU / HDD u are going to buy to mine with.

You're pretty much late to the game honestly. Also, it depends on how much you're willing to spend on your mining rig that will determine if it's worth it or not.

Mining is pretty much useless if you start to mine u will make less they u pay for

If you want to mine bitcoin the buy an antminer... If you want to mine altcoins then buy a bunch of GPUs.

Not necessarily late, just depends where you see it going... think of the people who came to the exact same conclusion in the early days and stopped mining because they were only getting 50-100 BTC a day..

I can say with confidence that this thing is already bad as it is already required a Lot of power, well, well, if you have the money for an entire mining farm from where it will come out 8000$
