I think the recent loss of value due to the global pandemic is a clear sign of how things stand with Crypto.

I knew a lot people in my country who were keen on mining in 2018. and some of them managed to earn some money, but most of them just lost a lot of cash that was invested in hardware. The hype is down and most people that are still mining are barely covering their bills.
