I got this monitor a little while ago on massdrop for $420.

1440p, 144 Hz, 30-144 Freesync range, 27" monitor, and it's IPS.
I've enjoyed it for the month I've had it so far.

Firstly you should ask a question, how much inches monitor you want, I prefer dell.

For people who stay at computer more than 5 hours you need 23'' if possible more than 60 Hz and if you will play for competitive or professional playing I recommend 144 Hz monitor. About Resolution 1920 x 1080 is good enough
