Mordhau

Curious on what everyone else thinks about Mordhau? Personally i really like it, there are a few annoying bugs and kicks are just dead asf but overall i'm having a really good time on it.

I played it for a few minutes. good gameplay but the menu looks like shit tbh.

I wanted to give it a shot as I know a lot of people are trying it out right now but I wasn't sure if it was something that would be good enough to hold my interest.

Its held my interest fine, i have 24 hours on it and only bought it about 3 or 4 days ago

Yeah the menu isn't that great, its really confusing when you are customizing your character and weapons

That's good to know, I might have to get it. how's the leveling system? Is their good customization or unlockables for your character/class etc.

The levelling system is fine atm, however all it really does is allow you to purchase better clothes as far as i know - not sure how it affects in game like... getting matched with people the same rank as ive literally been mainly playing 1v1 servers, horde (the best thing ever) and battle royale. As far as customization goes, the clothes are pretty bland and boring but i guess thats what you would expect from back in the timeset. You can completely customize your classes+there are preset ones for you. Theres also weapon customization and you can change the blade/handle/skin that kind of stuff pretty nice. I recomend it, especially horde mode with friends its great fun.

That sounds decent to me. Pretty cool you can customize the sword and what not, as for the clothes I'm not worried about that. I'll probably pick it up soon, thanks for the info.

They are legit not similar in any way, the mechanics are completely different. For honor is more like... spam and do combos oh you just hit a guy 13times in the head with a sword and he survived whereas mordhau is you die in 1-5 hits depending on your armor

It's my second favorite Medieval game behind Kingdom Come. The combat system is amazing. I've been waiting for a game to do the first person sword fighting in an online game properly for a long time.

I do wonder how long it will remain popular, newer online games have struggled with maintaining their popularity. Not a big fan of the price tag either.

I'm not familiar with the devs. I hope they continue to keep the game fresh and fun for a long time.
