Just keep putting in the work and practice. Start doing sight-reading practices and other stuff. I usually warm-up my picking a random piece and sight-reading a random part of the passage.
I dont practice really, Ill just throw a backing track on and play. I think your music theory knowledge will help a lot here since you can play in different modes, switch keys, or do other fun and complex things that will sound cool even if youre not a technically advanced player. You can also play with others and thats how I got practice in too, just by jamming with a lot of people.
