It was a pretty good movie. I wasn't sure what to think since it was kind of like that game Clue. But it was actually really good, and I liked the characters / actors in it so that's also a plus. And the ending twist was great. Overall I'd recommend it.

I came into the movie having already seenthe first one and I don't see the point of this reboot.
Personally the original is way better and had better pacing than this one.

What's it about. Haven't ever heard of it, is it a low budget film?

It's a fantastic murder mystery, in whichevery character isintricately involved. I'd hate to spoil too much so I'd suggest you view it first. I wouldn't call it a low budget film but I suppose $50 million is lower compared to those big marvel movies. It has a fantastic cast with actors/actressessuch as Johnny Depp and Daisy Ridley. But I would recommend the 1974 version with Albert Finney and Sean Connery. They both tell the same tale just different takes on it and I personally enjoyed the 1974 version better. But to each their own.

I have to say I was pretty disappointed in this movie and I wanted it to be so much better. I suppose it's because I have seen the original but it wasn't a bad movie but it wasn't amazing.

Never seen the original but I'll have to check it out, didn't even know this movie was based on a book either lol.
