I play and mod Fallout alot so, Steam, a browser (To get to Nexusmods), BAE, or Bethesda Archive Extractor, FOMM, or Fallout Mod Manager, and TESMod Manager.

Google Chrome, Steam, VLC, Skype, Microsoft Office, Adobe Acrobat Reader, Anti Virus, Winrar, Adobe Flash Player. (This are the basics)

Photoshop, TeamSpeak, Discord, TeamViewer, Netflix, VPN, LightShot, Sony Vegas, CCleaner, Notepad++

google chrome. imageboard, nolife, games, nvidia

WInDirStat for checking where stuff are filling up on your disk
Fences to keep your desktop pretty nice
You could also include wallpaper engine to get a nice background
Cyberghost to do secret stuff :3

If you format computers often, I use a little tool called Ninite which allows you to install multiple programs from one executable (customisable too.)

Process Explorer from technet, it does scanning..
